Information about the artist / the group

I am a multidisciplinary visual artist working with textiles, media art and natural colors. My works are about with humanity and observing life from a close distance. Recycled material is a central part of my works. My other key material is ink and natural pigments. I use inks for working on both textiles and paper works. I am interested in the margin, material and time: things left aside, forgotten, hidden and unnoticed. I try to get hold of humanity and time; understand, rewind, watch in slow motion: to remember.

I am a member of Muu ry, Turku artist association and Salon artist association. You can find my works the art lending offices of both associations.

Program during Konstrundan

My solo exhibition "Kadotettu hallinan tunne / Lost sense of control" is on display during the konstrundan at the gallery of the Salo artists' associations gallery. (Tehdaskatu 18, 24100 Salo) At my home atelier you can see my works and my working process.
