Information about the artist / the group

My main artistic practice currently consists of photography-based works. As a long-time artist, my career has included a variety of techniques, starting from painting on silk, paper, and traditional canvas. Textiles—especially recycled materials—are a meaningful part of my art, as is hand-built ceramics. I have tens of thousands of photographs, from which I select images for my works. I have them printed on glass, plywood, fabric, polycarbonate, aluminum, or paper. I digitally process the images to achieve the final expression I seek. The subjects of the works sometimes relate to my travels, but most often nature is present—either as a water element or in the form of plants. I use color boldly.
