Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist from Helsinki who makes both representational and abstract oil paintings. I have studied different fields of art, e.g., at HERA Art School and Vapaa taidekoulu. The purpose of Hera – Helsinki Atelier of Representational Art is to promote the preservation and teaching of classical visual art in Finland. Classical studio painting is largely based on manual skills. I am focused on training manual skills at the moment.I also paint icons. You can also buy work from me.

Program during Konstrundan

I keep my studio open together with other artists from the Tiljakamo art cooperative. I introduce people to old studio workshop methods, for example by painting and demonstrating techniques.
