Painting
Through art, I seek healing and a collective experience – painting is my way of processing things that are hard to put into words. My works are like visual diary pages, where personal and societal themes merge. Often, my paintings feature female figures, not as portraits, but as messengers of emotion. Through them, I tell stories from my own life journey. Art is a way for me to grow mentally, heal, and also share feelings and experiences with the viewer, creating a collective connection.
My studio is located on the 1st floor. The building is called Kisällitalo – you’ll see a sign with the name above the entrance. The front door is locked, so please give me a call when you arrive and I’ll come let you in. I’ll leave signs at the entrance to guide you to the right place. By public transport: Trams 1 and 7B stop at Rautalammintie (approx. 3 min walk). Buses 61, 64, 65, 66 and 67 stop at Hattulantie (approx. 5 min walk). Buses 70 and 849 stop at Elimäenkatu (approx. 6 min walk). Pasila train station is about a 15-minute walk away.
