Information about the artist / the group

I am Katja Sormunen aka SormusKa. I am a recent graduate with a vocational qualification in handicrafts. My previous education is as a nurse.

I make jewellery using recycled silver, domestic birch plywood and other recycled materials. As a nurse, it is important to me to make jewellery from safe, non-allergenic materials.

I am inspired by the peace-loving ethos of old hippie culture, natural materials and energising colours.

There is no lack of colour in my products! A warm welcome to colour therapy and to discover my jewellery!
