Vicky Maaranen – Visual Artist and Art Teacher
I am a visual artist and art teacher from Nurmijärvi. I paint with acrylics, oils, and beeswax, and lately, I have been inspired by cold wax and oil painting. My works explore the diversity of nature, blending figurative and abstract themes that evoke thoughts and emotions.

My studio is located in a serene rural setting where the surrounding nature inspires my art. I teach at Nurmijärvi Art School and Järvenpää Institute and also offer private lessons at my studio, Oceanborn Art.

I am the chairperson of the Uusimaa Visual Arts Association and have been recognized for my contributions to cultural work. "Welcome to Konstrundan to explore my art and its creative process."
