Information about the artist / the group

I am Senni Koskenvesa, a 28-year-old visual artist. I graduated as a visual artist from LAB University of Applied Sciences in the summer of 2024. I live and work in an artists' commune in Lappeenranta. I make oil paintings on canvas, on plywood sawn into shape, and on three-dimensional board bases that I have built. In recent years, I have been inspired by, among other things, forests, animal rights issues, my grandmothers, and everyday moments, views and encounters. My paintings are detailed, colorful and dreamlike.
