Information about the artist / the group

All my life I have enjoyed working with my hands, creating in different materials.
Early on I drew in pencil and ink. I started painting in oil in the 80s, then I have had a long break in painting,
and started again in 2016 when I retired. I am now back behind the easel and paint mostly in acrylic and oil. I try different materials, methods and approaches. I want my works to be a little different. I also create sculptures of wooden slats. My paintings can be abstract, where the viewer can freely interpret the meaning, or the purely concrete or naturalistic.

If you drive from Mariehamn, turn to Lemland, pass Lemströms canal, after high hill (Knutsboda brinken), turn right at sign Lemböte chapel, drive about 2km, turn left to Söderhällsvägen, drive 1.2 km forest road = arrived. Signs are from/by Lemlandsvägen.
