I am Keanne van de Kreeke, a Dutch visual artist, living in Finland for 25 years now, driven by warmth, imagination, and a deep connection to the world around me. Through painting, illustration, and mixed media, I transform ordinary moments into extraordinary visual stories that speak to universal emotions and experiences.
My work often explores themes of identity, connection, and nature. I use vibrant colors and intuitive forms to create pieces that invite reflection and evoke a sense of wonder. Capturing beauty in the unnoticed is what makes my art feel personal yet timeless. For me, art is more than just a form of expression—it’s a way to connect with others, share stories, and celebrate the beauty that surrounds us every day.

Program during Konstrundan

I will be showcasing works that are currently in progress, sharing insights into their content and the techniques I use. My practice often involves mixed media on a variety of surfaces. I will aslo have a small shop open where you can find books, posters, cards, and original pieces, as well as smaller artworks created using recycled materials. As a visitor, you’ll also have the chance to sit down in an artist's corner, try materials, and contribute your artistic marks to a communal artwork.

Driving directions

If coming from Somero direction:
Drive along Helsingintie until you reach Karttamontie. Turn right onto Karttamontie.
If coming from Helsinki direction:
Turn left onto Karttamontie.
From Karttamontie, drive approximately 3 km and turn left onto Savolaisentie. Continue for about 400 meters, then turn sharply left into the forest road.
Drive about 300 meters through the forest. When you reach a road split, take the left road and continue driving around the pond.
You will arrive at your destination. Welcome!
