Information about the artist / the group

My name is Eva-Lotta Kastilan and I am a visual artist living in the Åland countryside. I started drawing before I was two years old and since then I have never stopped creating. My main interest is to make visible what is behind the surface. Drawing portraits, painting dreamy intuitive watercolors or capturing small moments out in nature is for me a way to make the soul, the magical interior, visible. Through it I show what I already experienced as a child: that everything is animated and imbued with magic.
