Information about the artist / the group

I am a full-time visual artist. My work in art arises from a deep need to create. Ideas for images and stories just come to me, and I express them in various forms: as images, texts, and installations. From a technical perspective, working with experimental techniques I have developed myself is essential. Thematically, a strong conceptual line is important in my works. Researching source material and writing go hand in hand with my visual art practice.

Driving directions

My studio is located on Jyväskylä’s oldest, tree-lined pedestrian street – almost in the "backyard" of the art museum. You can park your car on Kilpisenkatu or Gummeruksenkatu parking lots, or at Kirkkopuisto or Harju. From there, it's just a short walk.
