Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist and ceramist, and I make sculptures and multi-part wall works out of clay in my studio. In my art, I am inspired by my everyday observations of animals and the relationship between humans and other animals. I love clay as a material, and it is a key material in my art. I also like to make utensils out of clay, and in my office you can find, for example, vases and flower pots, which I have made using the coiling technique from coloured clay. I am a member of Muu ry and the Helsinki Artists' Association.

Program during Konstrundan

Visitors have the opportunity to experiment with clay moulding. If desired, the work can also be fired for a fee.

Driving directions

The windows of my studio are at Kanavaranta 15. There is a Konstrundan sign outside. Come and knock on the window and I'll direct you to the right door!
